I'd like to introduce a four part series trying to best answer the question that many of our patients ask us.

What is the difference between a physiotherapist and a chiropractor or an osteopath?

This seems like a pretty simple question but when we really start looking into it closely, it's a tricky one to summarise.

In many ways there may be more similarities between a particular physio and a chiro than two physios.

Perhaps a better way to look at the three professions is that we're all manual therapists.

In this series, we'll look at issues such as training/education, skill set, treatment techniques and philosophy of treatment, relationships with other professions, safety, empowering self treatment, injury prevention and a whole lot more.

Stay tuned over the next 4 weeks.
