Having had a burning desire to become a physiotherapist ever since his teenage years, Adam escaped the corporate world in 2003 to pursue his passion. Upon completing his physiotherapy degree at the University of Newcastle in 2007 he joined the team at The Physio Joint and has now been there working full time ever since. In addition Adam has worked in other private practice settings both here and overseas, including working for a professional cycling team in Norway in 2007.
For the 2009/10 & 2010/11 seasons, Adam was the Team Physiotherapist for the Newcastle Jets Football Club A-League team.
Adam has a wealth of experience in functional exercise prescription and rehabilitation programming having been a fully qualified personal trainer and fitness trainer since 2002. Over the last fifteen plus years he has developed training programs for people of all levels of ability participating in a raft of different sports and pursuits.
Being an avid recreational sportsman who enjoys participating in activities such as cycling, running, surfing, football and tennis, Adam has a particular interest in the prevention, treatment and rehabilitation of sporting injuries. His expertise lies in the treatment and management of injuries of the lower limb and spine.
