Kate’s desire to work in a profession where she was helping people and her personal experience as a patient led her to pursue a career in physiotherapy.
Kate Graduated from the University of Newcastle in 2014 with a bachelor of physiotherapy class 1 honours. Following graduation, she was employed in a new graduate program at a private practice in Adamstown. During her time at Adamstown she gained experience and further education in a range of musculoskeletal injuries and conditions.
Kate’s main focus with each and every patient is ensuring they have a thorough understanding of their diagnosis and tailors rehabilitation program towards individual patient’s goals.
She understands that life is busy and therefore has a strong focus on functional rehabilitation that can be incorporated into day to day life.
From a young age Kate has been a keen sportsperson participating in a high level of netball and a range of other sports/activities including Touch football, cricket, basketball and snowboarding. She now generally enjoys spending time with family/ friends and keeping physically active with activities such as running with her dog, swimming and yoga. She also has a keen interest in travel and has extensively explored Europe, UK and parts of Asia.
